PowerUp America Awarded 4 EV Charging Stations in Tennessee, Committed to Job Creation and Considerate Charging Solutions

Johnson City, TN – PowerUp America, a Tennessee charging company, is poised to make a significant impact in Tennessee with the deployment of advanced Level 3 charging stations. These state-of-the-art stations are designed for compatibility with current EV models, offering rapid and high-powered charging options.
Following a competitive selection process that saw 167 applications from 23 distinct entities, PowerUp America has been awarded the opportunity to develop EV charging infrastructure at four strategic locations in Tennessee as part of the Tennessee Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (TEVI) Program by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). The awarded sites include:

These sites are integral to enhancing the accessibility of EV charging across the state. Josh Turner, CEO of PowerUp America, emphasized the company’s commitment to not just providing convenient charging solutions, but also to supporting the local power grid's stability and sustainability.
